Every order is physically inspected before it leaves India.
We open and check each item by hand against a fixed checklist. If it fails, it does not get on the plane — and you hear about it first.

What we check
Correct product · correct quantity · no visible damage · packaging intact · expiry dates for food/health items · labels and documents present.
If it fails QC
We notify you, then arrange a return or replacement where the marketplace allows it. You’re never shipped a known-bad item. See our returns policy →
Honest limits
We inspect what is visible and accessible without damaging the item. We don’t bench-test sealed electronics, open factory-sealed units to test internal components, or test mechanical function of items that are packaged to be sold sealed. For these categories, our check covers the outer condition and packaging — not internal function. If internal testing matters for your order, ask us at the quote stage and we can discuss what’s feasible.

What happens to your order at the desk.
Before any order leaves our facility in Sangli, Maharashtra, it goes through the same fixed checklist — regardless of the order’s value or size.
| Step | What we do | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Receive and open the package from the marketplace or seller | Confirms the item actually arrived and was not lost or misdirected |
| 2 | Verify product against the customer’s order (name, model, variant, colour, size) | Catches wrong-item errors before they leave India, not after they arrive abroad |
| 3 | Check quantity matches the order | Especially important for multi-unit or bulk orders |
| 4 | Inspect visible condition — outer packaging, seals, any visible damage | Damaged packaging often means damaged contents; we flag it rather than ship it |
| 5 | Check expiry or manufacture date for food, wellness, and beauty items | Ensures the item has reasonable shelf life for the shipping time involved |
| 6 | Confirm labels, documentation, and commercial invoice are present | Customs requires accurate documentation; missing labels cause clearance delays |
| 7 | Photograph the item and its packaging before repacking | You receive photos on WhatsApp before dispatch — you see what’s on its way |
| 8 | Repack for international transit and apply shipping label | Repacking is appropriate for the item type, weight, and fragility |

How we approach different product types.
| Category | What we focus on at QC | What we can’t test |
|---|---|---|
| Spices & Commodities | Packaging seal intact · expiry date valid · no signs of moisture or pest damage | Taste, freshness beyond packaging integrity |
| Food & Beverages | Packaging seal intact · best-before date valid · no leakage, spoilage or pest damage signs | Taste, freshness beyond packaging integrity |
| Ayurveda & Wellness | Seal unbroken · batch and expiry date present and valid · label matches order | Clinical efficacy or ingredient purity beyond label |
| Beauty & Personal Care | Packaging intact · batch date present · no leakage or damaged pump/lid | Internal formulation — we verify the product, not the chemistry |
| Fashion & Ethnic Wear | Item matches listing (colour, size, fabric type) · stitching visibly intact · no marks or pulls | Long-term durability of fabric or dye |
| Handicrafts & Gifting | No cracks, chips, or breaks · finish matches listing · fragile items individually wrapped before repacking | Handmade variation from photos is normal craftsmanship, not a defect |
| Festival & Celebration | Quantity correct · items undamaged · festival-specific timing flag raised if arrival date is at risk | In-transit delays — flagged honestly at the quote stage, not after dispatch |
| Incense, Pooja & Spiritual | Packaging intact · stick/cone/idol count matches order · no breakage, crumbling, or moisture damage | Fragrance strength or burn quality beyond packaging condition |
| Raw Materials & Ingredients | Packaging seal intact · quantity or weight matches order · no visible contamination, moisture, or pest damage | Chemical composition or purity beyond what supplier documentation states |
| Bulk Sourcing | Same checklist applied per unit across the batch · quantity reconciled against the full order · packaging consistent across units | Individual unit variation beyond a representative sample check on very large batches |
| White Label & Packaging | Custom branding and label match your approved artwork · packaging materials and print quality · quantity matches order | Long-term durability of custom packaging materials beyond visual inspection |
| Social & Local Finds | Item matches the photo or reference you sent · condition consistent with what was shown · packaging intact | Attributes not visible in your original reference image (exact fabric composition, unlisted specs) |
Frequently asked questions
What happens if an item fails the quality check?
We don’t ship it. If an item fails our quality check, we notify you immediately with photos and offer alternatives — a replacement item, a different seller, or a full refund of the product cost.
Do you send photos of my order before it ships?
Yes. We photograph every order at our desk after the quality check and send the photos to you on WhatsApp before dispatch — so you see exactly what’s on its way before it leaves India.
Can you test electronics or open sealed products to check if they work?
No — and we’re upfront about this. We inspect the outer condition, packaging, and seals of electronics, but we don’t open factory-sealed units or bench-test internal components. Our check confirms the correct item arrived in undamaged, sealed condition. If internal testing is critical for your order, tell us at the quote stage and we’ll tell you honestly what’s feasible.
How long does the quality check take?
Typically 1 to 2 business days for standard individual orders. Bulk or multi-item orders may take slightly longer. We’ll confirm a realistic timeline for your specific order at the quote stage.
Where does the quality check happen?
At our own facility in Sangli, Maharashtra — not outsourced, not automated. Every item is checked by hand by our team before it’s repacked and handed to the courier.
